This little girl…she’s adorable. With her big brown eyes and her divine hair, I just love her. Her mom is a good friend of mine, so when I told her my plans for a 3rd birthday shoot she was totally down! Unfortunately the shoot did not quite go as planned (isn’t that the way it always goes?) — I had planned to do an awesome “balloon garden”, but the wind blew all my balloons around until they were a giant tangled mess. And the day was a little chilly and very overcast, so my dreams of a beautiful, sunny, backlit photo shoot was also shot down. AND because it was chilly and just not a great afternoon, Miss H was done after about 15 minutes of shooting.

And yet, even though nothing went quite as planned, the photos from this session turned out beautifully. So beautifully. Miss H is gorgeous, wouldn’t you agree?

I’m not quite sure how her mom and dad can possibly resist when she looks at them with those big brown eyes!
